First Day:
Arrival in Galatina, meeting with the guide and visit of the historical centre of Galatina, one of the most interesting of the all Salento with elements of civil and religious architecture of undisputed value. In addition to the church Matrice dedicated Saints Paul and Peter, there is also the beautiful basilica of saint Catherine of Alessandria, built in 1391 by Raimondo Orsini del Balzo. The renaissance art is represented by many Palaces presented in Galatina as for example Plazzo Orsini (nowadays seat of municipality), Palace Calafilippi, palace Gorgoni-Nazzo, Palace Tafuri. It is also possible to visit the crypts of S. Maria della Grotta and S. Anna built during the IX – XIII centuries. Second Day:
Breakfast. Transfer to Lecce, meeting with the guide in Porta Napoli , called Triumph Arc, for the guided visit of the town , starting with the church of Santa Maria della Provvidenza (Alcantarine) with its elegant style, then, visit of the S. Maria of Costantinopoli, the Greek church with its characteristic paintings. Continuation with the visit of the sixtieth - century Palazzo Adorno and of S. Croce Basilica, wonderful example of the Lecce Baroque. After a brief stop in Sant’ Oronzo square, protector of the town, where it is possible to see the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre of Carlo V; the visit will continue throughout the historical centre Arriving up to the Saint Irene and Saint Chiara churches, two pearls of the local Baroque. Lunch in restaurant (main course, second course, side dish, fruits or ice cream and water on tables). Late in the afternoon return in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Third Day:
Breakfast. Transfer to Otranto, meeting with the guide and visit of the most eastern town of South of Italy, it is for this reason that it is called “Door of Orient”. This place has ancient origins, nowadays we are sure that the area surrounding Otranto was already inhabited in the Bronze Age, so, before the Greek colonization. The visit will focus on the beautiful historical centre with its wonderful Cathedral, where there is the “Capella dei Martiri” with its reliquaries in which are preserved the bones remains of the martyrs. In the cathedral square there are the clock tower and the sixteenth century palace that nowadays accommodate the Diocesano Museum. The tour will continue with the visit of the Aragonese Castle built in the 1578, surrounded by a huge moat, with three towers that descend toward the seashore an d several embrasures along the walls and on the peak.
