Length 4 Days/3 nights

First Day:
Arrival in Rotonda or Castelluccio (PZ) and arrangement in three stars hotel. guided visit of Laino Castello (CS), a very ancient village abandoned in 1982 with the ruins of feudal castle and from where it is possible to enjoy a wonderful landscape with view on the Lao Gorges. In alternative visit of Peasant civilization Museum in Castelluccio Inferiore. Dinner and overnight stay in hote

Second Day:
Breakfast. Departure for the guided excursion on the Pollino Mountain to live a full day in contact with nature and that develops on mountains (1535)
The excursion, with the guide, schedules the crossing of the Caballa plateau, departing from the Dragone Hill: the plateau is crossed by a little river and at the feet of a Loricato Pine there is the Caballa spring.
Package lunch provided by the hotel.
Then, the Ruggio plateau will be crossed, from here it will be possible to arrive in Belvedere, where in addition at the wonderful view it is possible to see some examples of Loricato Pine.
During the excursion you will also see beeches woods, grasslands rich in flowers, above all in spring, water springs and streams. Return in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Third Day:
Arrival in Matera and meeting with the guide. Guided tour of the “Sassi” and stops to visit: an ancient house dug into the tuff that nowadays became a potter’s workshop (demonstration of the lathe of clay  processing), the house-cave typically equipped with furniture of rural culture, and all the locations of “The Passion” the Mel Gibson movie, the historical centre, the Romanesque Cathedral. Lunch based on local production in a restaurant situated in the “Sassi”. In the afternoon visit of the Archaeological Museum and National Gallery of Medieval and Modern Art of Palazzo Lanfranchi. Transfer in three stars hotel in Metaponto or in the surrounded area, dinner and overnight stay.

Forth Day:
Breakfast. Transfer in the archaeological area of Metaponto the town founded by Greek, approximately during the VII century B. C., that gave hospitality to mathematician Pythagoras and its school, and that became one of the most important centre of the Magna Greece. Guided visit of the Park and Archaeological Museum, of the Palatines Tables.
Lunch in restaurant. Departure to places of origin.
